Benchmark Administrator

A benchmark administrator is the organization responsible for governing a benchmark — defining its methodology, controlling its inputs, and ensuring its integrity.

Under IOSCO principles, the administrator must separate benchmark operation from any party that could profit by moving the number, and must publish its methodology.

WorkForce administers the WorkForce Labor Index under this governance model so the index can be cited in institutional contexts.
