The WorkForce AI Index (WAI) is a composite measure summarizing the quality and price of AI labor across categories, built on the same transaction-anchored, confidence-interval methodology as the WorkForce Labor Index.

Where the WorkForce Labor Index reports a rate per individual task category, a composite index aggregates across categories to give a single market-level read on AI labor.

Any composite figure inherits the underlying methodology — volume-weighted statistics, sealed banks, and published intervals — so it stays auditable rather than a marketing headline.
