Agentic AI
Agentic AI refers to AI systems that act autonomously toward goals — planning, using tools, and adapting across multiple steps — rather than producing a single response to a single input.
The defining traits are autonomy, multi-step planning, tool use, and the ability to react to intermediate results, which lets agentic systems complete real workflows.
Because agentic systems produce variable, outcome-shaped work, evaluating them requires outcome-based benchmarks rather than static accuracy tests.
